Agent Switch Hands Chelsea Big Advantage In Race For £35m Rated Brazilian

Porto left-back Alex Telles has switched agents to Pini Zahavi, according to Record. The Portuguese tabloid claims the Israeli’s connections in the Premier League make a move to England more likely.

Chelsea have worked with Zahavi on a number of occasions and with their interest in Telles widely known, it should give them the edge in the race to secure the Brazilian’s signature.

However, it must be pointed out that Barcelona’s interest in the fullback could wipe out the Blues’ advantage. Zahavi has also been working with Barca in trying to secure Neymar’s return to the Camp Nou over the past year.

The La Liga club are reportedly looking at Telles as a potential summer target. The 27-year-old is expected to leave Porto this summer with his current deal running into its final twelve months.

The defender does have a €40m (£35m) release clause but he is likely to be sold for a lower amount considering his contract situation.
