Agent Of Chelsea Target Sparks £40M Scramble After Claiming “Now Is The Right Time” For Transfer To Happen

The agent of Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has confirmed that the Ghanaian international is ready to move clubs this summer.

Chelsea have been linked with the 22-year-old this season, along with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle, and his representative Jennifer Mendelewitsch says a transfer is very likely:

“I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time.”

Kudus has been in great form this campaign, having scored 18 goals in all competitions, and he is capable of playing in more than one position.

For Ajax, he has been deployed as a no.10, a right winger and an out-and-out forward. His adaptability has undoubtedly attracted the interest of Blues scouts, as well as other Premier League teams.

Kudus is not expected to command a huge fee

Reliable sources have confirmed that Ajax may sell the Ghanaian for £40m, which is a reasonable figure, considering his age and potential.

Whether Kudus would favour a move to Chelsea, above other interested clubs, though, it remains to be seen.
