Christian Pulisic could be sold by Chelsea for just £20m, with Juventus the favourites to snap him up, according to reports in the UK.
The American international is not expected to feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans and, with the player having just a year left on his contract, he is set to be offloaded for a cut-price sum to prevent him from leaving for nothing next summer. Even so, supporters on Twitter are not happy that Pulisic may be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for such a small transfer fee:
20m is a joke as well as his treatment by the club. There’s definitely a good player in there that will thrive under the right environment and conditions. He’s hardly been given any chances neither under Tuchel nor this season. He’s still young and at the WC he showed his ability

Laughable

My god. In todays market this is easily a £50 mil player. Chelsea’s strategy of buying before selling is going to lose us tens of millions this summer… we have so little leverage it embarrassing. These are basic rules or business, how can billionaire businessmen get it so wrong

20m?
He has great potential and we shouldn’t sell for less than 50m.— Feel Chelsea ⭐⭐ (@FeelChels) May 30, 2023
20M is free for someone like him. One season of health and it will look so silly.

20m seems a bit low, I would say 30m which tbh would still be disappointing for a player who still has crazy potential.

he has one year left on his contract, 20mil is a fair price

Chelsea paid £58m for Pulisic in 2019 but they were never likely to recoup that figure, considering his fitness problems and his performances this season.
Combined with the fact that there is so little time remaining on his current deal, fans may have to accept that the 24-year-old won’t fetch a significant sum in the transfer market.
The Blues will probably be still hoping to get more than £20m, though. The likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool have been mentioned as potential suitors over the past twelve months so, if one of those teams does get involved, it could up his price slightly.
