Real Madrid Interested In Signing Ramires

The winter transfer period is soon approaching and several important teams look to change things up a bit. Even though Real Madrid just closed the most expensive deal in football history by signing Gareth Bale for almost 90 million pounds, they still look interested in bringing in some new players. Chelsea’s 26 year old midfielder, Ramires has caught the eye of the Spanish side as he managed some excellent performance throughout his career at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian midfielder has been with the Blues since 2010 and has already managed 103 appearances being one of the most constant players Chelsea has. He scored 12 goals in three years but most importantly, he has been keeping the midfield together and he has won the Champions League in 2012.

According to Metro, Ramires could be the subject of an exchange that may bring Mourinho’s former player, Sami Khedira to Stamford Bridge. The two have similar attributes on pitch with the German being a bit more on the offensive side. Even if Real’s player repeatedly stated he wants to leave Spain, Ramires is firmly convinced his future is with Chelsea. His contract runs out in 2017 and he is confident he will carry it out until the end.

Ramires insisted he will not leave his current team but admitted he was flattered to hear a club such as Real, is interested in his services. Even so there is little to no chance for the Brazilian to change countries. He looks very happy with his current situation and is 100% dedicated to Mourinho’s team.

The Brazilian also spoke about his great form and about his relationship with Chelsea’s Portuguese manager. Apparently his great form is due to his great collaboration with Mourinho and to the fact that he never concentrates on personal goals but only on collective goals. Ramires also said that he has grown a lot since the Blues’ current boss returned to London, mostly because of his great motivational skills which bring out the best in everyone. It is very hard to believe that a player such as Ramires will leave Stamford Bridge any time soon.
