81% Of Chelsea Fans Are Backing Lampard To Thrive Without Hazard

One of the biggest challenges that manager Frank Lampard will face following his appointment as Chelsea manager will be how to mitigate the loss of Eden Hazard.

The Belgian scored 21 goals and provided 17 assists last season for the Blues and was an integral part of how the team played.

Hazard was undeniably the club’s talisman and he will not be easy to replace, especially with the transfer ban still in place.

Despite his importance to the side, though, a large majority of supporters we polled are backing Lampard to thrive without the Belgian playmaker this season:

The arrival of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund may help the team replace some of the goals and assists that Hazard provided, but it is a lot of pressure to put on a 20-year-old who has never played in the Premier League.

Lampard will also be hoping that more experienced players will step up to the mark next season and fill the gaping void left by Hazard.
