Arsenal are considering making a move for Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, according to reports in England.
The 23-year-old is believed to be available for around £40m, and was also said to have been offered to Borussia Dortmund as part of the Blues’ first initial proposal for Erling Haaland.
Despite seemingly being deemed surplus to requirements by manager Thomas Tuchel, though, there was a mixed reaction to the news among fans on Twitter, who are not sure whether the club should sell Abraham to the Gunners:

By all means sell him if it’s funding Haaland and he isn’t in Tuchels plans, but not to arsenal

There is the obvious concern about potentially strengthening a rival but, it should be pointed out, that Arsenal are not likely to be competing at the top of the table next season.
If Chelsea can raise £40m or more from selling Abraham, and it helps them secure the transfer of Haaland before the summer transfer window closes, then you won’t be seeing many supporters complaining.
