Werner looks the part already
The German international clearly offers something very different from Frank Lampard’s other two striking options in Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham.
Werner can strike fear into opposing defences with his pace, and he will look to get in behind at every opportunity. He was very sharp to win the penalty for the opening goal and it surely won’t be long before he gets his first goal for the club.
