Chelsea have been linked with signing a goalkeeper as former Brighton stopper Robert Sanchez has struggled this season. 

The Blues have seen competition for the goalkeeper spot this season under Enzo Maresca, with both Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen struggling for form, and making regular mistakes in goal.

It has sparked questions over Chelsea’s recruitment at the position, with many believing that the Blues will go out and sign a new keeper during the summer, ahead of next season.

Sanchez joined from Brighton in 2023 for £19 million and has since struggled to prove that he is worth the number-one spot at Stamford Bridge. He has been challenged by Jorgensen this season, but he recently made a mistake which gifted Aston Villa a late winner in a 2-1 defeat at the weekend.
