Chelsea attacking midfielder Tino Anjorin is the surprise name among five players who could be offloaded by the Blues this summer. The Spanish website Fichajes.net has listed the 19-year-old, along with Kepa, Olivier Giroud, Emerson Palmieri and Charly Musonda, as being available.
Whether they are simply stating that Anjorin will be given a loan spell away from Stamford Bridge, it is not clear. Their report states that the midfielder will be “released” in order to give the player more game time with another team.
In regards to the other four players, their inclusion is not surprising. Giroud is out of contract in the summer and may not sign another extension, while Emerson has fallen behind both Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso in the pecking order at left-back.
Kepa has been hoping for a fresh start under manager Thomas Tuchel but Edouard Mendy has continued to be selected ahead of him for league games. Musonda’s injury problems mean the 24-year-old has hardly played any first-team football over the past couple of years so a move away from London may be best for all parties.
