Would Three Transfers Be Enough To Make Chelsea Unbeatable?

Chelsea have managed to build an almost complete dream team with players like Courtois, Terry, Matic, Hazard and Costa being the highest rated names in their position. There is still a little room for improvement though and according to Metro, three new players would truly turn the Blues into an unstoppable group. There have been a lot of speculation regarding Varane, Pogba and most recently, Bale who are exactly the top players missing from the dream line-up every football fan must have fantasized about at least once.

If Mourinho finds a way to sign the three, Chelsea would look like the perfect team. Varane and Terry or Zouma down the middle of the defense, Pogba next to Fabregas just in front of Matic and Hazard and Bale down the wings supporting Diego Costa. It is a line-up that would surely make any team have doubts about their chances to defeat the Blues.

To go even further with imagining how Chelsea could look, we can also add to the equation other players rumored to be targeted by Mourinho. Lacazette and Griezmann are the most important and would definitely be helping the team step up their game in terms of competitiveness. Even though it would be very hard for them to replace Costa and Hazard, it would still be amazing to see who gets to play and who shines out of the four. Unfortunately for now, one or two out of the six possible transfers are likely to take place. Even though the money might not be an issue (£250m is a raw estimate), FIFA’s Financial Fair Play rules would prevent Abramovich from spending that much.
