Would Antoine Griezmann Fit In At Stamford Bridge?

Griezman is undoubtedly one of the most impressive attacking players currently playing in Europe. The 24 year old Frenchman who surprisingly picked Atletico when leaving Sociedad, is now opened to discussions with a new team after just one year spent in Madrid. The forward’s choices make a lot of sense and another transfer would not be that big of a surprise. He seems to have made the correct decision in joining Atletico where the pressure is not as big as it would have been with Chelsea for example. Many players skip a step and get lost along the way. Footballers like Schurrle or De Bruyne needed to go through what they are going right now before managing to become team regulars at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea is the place where you reach the peak of your career and it is the place where you need to be excellent in each and every way. This includes work ethic, personality, determination and much more. Talent is not enough to make it as seen with Lukaku, Marin and possibly with Cuadrado.

Antoine Griezmann took his time and started preparing for a big team some time ago. Even though Atletico is right up there, they are still not on the same level as Chelsea. Moving to West London would be a step up for the Frenchman who paired with Costa could cause some serious damage to any adversary. According to Metro, a £43m deal would be enough for Atletico to allow one of their best players to leave after just one year.
