Two Low-Cost Transfers Prepared For This January?

A while back we put together a list of all the players sent out on loan by Chelsea. Apparently having so many players sent all across Europe can’t help the Blues right now as all are under contract for the next year and have little chance of returning to Stamford Bridge despite the need to fill in the gaps. According to Metro, Mourinho is eyeing two players who could help last year’s champions handle the pressure of being involved in all domestic competitions and the Champions League.

The first name on the list is FC Sion’s Moussa Konate. The 22-year-old striker has managed to score 21 times in 35 appearances for the Swiss side. This season, the Senegal international is already leading the statistics for his team where he managed 7 goals and 5 assists in 12 matches. Despite not being even close to the level Costa, Falcao and Remy should be at, the youngster can still be a good addition to the team at least for the second part of the season which might come with some very complicated decisions for Mourinho.

The second name on the list is 29-year-old Giorgi Loria who was allegedly contacted by Chelsea 2 days in a row in order to sign a contract. Begovic and Blackman are not enough apparently for the Blues who need another keeper who is in decent shape. Alongside the Georgian international, Valdes was also mentioned as a possible winter transfer possibly to help secure Chelsea’s goal.
