With Oscar rumoured to be leaving Chelsea, Ramires sold and Loftus-Cheek just a rookie, Chelsea could do with another quality midfielder. Fabregas can play that role and he himself has confirmed it recently, however, the Spaniard is better off playing behind the striker.

At Chelsea, he will have lesser burden on him and knowing Real Madrid, they will sell him as soon as a bigger name ( not necessarily a better player ) becomes available. With Madrid said to be interested in signing Eden Hazard, Chelsea should definitely turn that down but still pursue Toni Kroos.
