Schurrle To Make Way For Cuadrado

Schurrle To Make Way For Cuadrado

Mourinho is going to say goodbye to Schurrle in a couple of days. It seems that the German will be returning to his home country where Wolfsburg are ready to pay a massive transfer fee. For some reason the Bundesliga side is going to send £27 million to Stamford Bridge which is kind of incredible if you consider the aspirations of the club. According to Metro, this is an offer that Mourinho could not refuse and it is exactly what he was talking about when he told the press that it would take a major financial effort on behalf of those wanting to sign Schurrle.

Despite looking like a great player and being part of the World Cup winning team, Schurrle does not have what it takes to make it at Stamford Bridge. One of his biggest drawbacks was that he had to face Hazard for a spot in the first team. The Belgian has a different mentality and it is more confident when it comes to high end competitions. The German seems to be lacking in positive morale and has a difficult time maintaining a high paced rhythm like the one in the Premier League. Even though he is going to be sold by the Blues, going to Wolfsburg seems a bit too much or better yet, too little for the winger. He would have been a great fit for Arsenal for example who lack a fast left winger that could also score goals.
