Salah Determined To Aim Higher

Chelsea’s player is looking to take on a bigger challenge despite the fact that Fiorentina have gone through great efforts to keep him with the team for another year. The club president even issued a public statement and insisted that Salah will be playing for Fiorentina next year as well. According to TeamTalk though, Salah’s situation is a bit different as the 23 year old is looking to sign with another club most likely because Fiorentina failed to make it to the Champions League. That leaves Roma, Lazio and Juventus who have shown some interest in the Egyptian international.

Roma is the most likely destination for Salah who could also be offered the option to return to Stamford Bridge. The problem with Salah’s move away from Florence is that it might come with some legal issues as the Italians state there is a legal bond between Chelsea, Salah and Fiorentina which gives the Serie A side priority to resign the winger. This would prevent him from moving to another Serie A team and would probably mean he returns to Stamford Bridge. The terms of the deal are not public so it is hard to tell what is going to happen. One thing is for sure though: Salah wants to play in the Champions League.
