Salah Confirms He Is At His Best In Serie A

Egypt international, Mohamed Salah has had a great season in Italy and has reminded everyone of the times he amazed Champions League audiences with his technique and speed. It appears that Serie A football suits him a lot better than the Premier League which is something the 23 year old wants to concentrate on. According to TeamTalk he will ask to stay with Fiorentina but he will also request a raise in salary. He is rumored to be earning around £1.6million from the Blues but he will try negotiating an increase which has a 50-50% chance of happening. Fiorentina are not the richest club in the world and might lose Salah to Milan who seem to not have a problem paying the forward’s salary wishes.

After making 26 appearances in only half of season and after finding the net 9 times, it is clear that Italian football is where Salah should be. Unfortunately it is hard to believe his performances will be just as good if he does return to the UK. Mourinho might want to take advantage of the player’s excellent form and try selling him to recover some of the money spent on him in 2014. The Portuguese boss clearly does not see Salah as a permanent solution for Chelsea and is still trying to find someone to become as good as Hazard is on the left. Not sure why the Special One is spending so much on right wingers when he already has Willian to cover that position. Not sure why he sold Schurrle either considering he was a great winger who looked better than Cuadrado and Salah ever did at Stamford Bridge. Even though he was more effective on the left side, he looked very versatile and probably could have helped Chelsea avoid spending money they are now trying to recover.
