Even though he started off as a winger, Lacazette has become one of the most feared strikers in Europe. Lyon’s goal machine who will be turning 24 in July, has managed to score an impressive 31 goals in 38 games. He also provided 8 assists which helped his team be on top of Ligue 1 where they are currently tied with PSG. His resume is very impressive up until now and having him sign a deal with Chelsea would really be a great move from Mourinho. Lacazette is under contract with Lyon until 2018 and has been linked to the Premier League even since January when he already showed what he is capable of. According to Metro, The Blues are willing to pay £15million plus Loic Remy which sounds like a very tempting deal for the French side.

Lacazette will be offered a £60,000-a-week which is a great starting salary for a newcomer. Currently he is making a bit less than that bonuses included. It should not be about the money with the Frenchman though who looks ready to take on a new challenge. Mourinho should make an effort in signing Lacazette considering how great the attack would look with Costa, Lacazette and maybe Dominic Solanke. The biggest challenge would probably be to convince the 23 year old striker to leave Lyon considering the great year he and his team have had. If they win Ligue 1 there is a pretty big chance he will want to play in the Champions League as a team regular which is not a sure thing at Stamford Bridge.
