We are getting close to January and the rumour mill has started throwing up some unbelievable links and the rumour for the day is that Real Madrid want to sell Gareth Bale. Not that sure how that works, since Bale scored some crucial goals in Real’s double-winning campaign last season, but Metro states that they will transfer the funds from United to Chelsea in return for Hazard.

Bale has been in phenomenal form for Madrid and scored 22 goals in 44 appearances for the La Liga side last season. However, Madrid obviously believe Hazard will surpass those numbers and are prepared to sell Bale for a massive £90 million to Man United, who are willing to stump up the required amount for the Welshman, and use that cash to bid for the Belgian.

The 23-year-old has yet to sign an extension with the Blues and has been linked with a big money move to other European clubs like PSG in the past. Do you think Chelsea are in danger of losing their maestro to Real Madrid?
