Projected Line Up As Chelsea Face Aston Villa

Jose Mourinho will have to make some changes to his team selection to face Aston Villa on Saturday at Stamford Bridge for one of the day’s 3pm kick-offs. With injury causing problems the boss has to make some tough calls on his defence as Ivanovic is definitely out having sustained quite a bad hamstring injury over the international break while appearing for Serbia which is likely to keep him on the sidelines for 3 weeks. Ramires or Zouma could be chosen to fill in at right back for Ivanovic but we think both will start with Rami in the right-back birth and Zouma getting the call in the centre.

Matic also got injured while playing for Serbia but he looks to be ok to play if selected on Saturday and will be vying with Ruben Loftus-Cheek for a position in the midfield alongside Fabregas- we think that experience will win out with Matic getting the start.

Diego Costa is eligible to play now that his ban has ended and we can look for him to be restored to the starting XI in favour of Falcao. Willian is likely to continue his hot-streak by starting on the right with Oscar getting the call in the number 10 role and Hazard looking to kick on down the left hand side after some decent performances for Belgium over the past 2 weeks.

So we think the line-up could be something like this…

—————-Begovic——————–

Ramires— Cahill—Zouma—Azpilicueta

————-Matic—Fabregas————–

——-Willian—Oscar—Hazard————

—————–Costa———————
