Mourinho Snubs Hazard Transfer News

After rumors that Real Madrid refused a massive £100million offer for Bale and Varane, it is time for Mourinho to snub any possibility of seeing Hazard ending up at the Bernabeu. The Belgian winger who is under contract until 2021 apparently has no interest in leaving and will probably become one of Chelsea’s most iconic players if he keeps playing in the same vein as he does these days. According to Sky Sports, Zidane’s recent hints regarding Real Madrid’s interest in the 24 year old are destined to pave the way for yet another star signing for the Spanish side.

Chelsea don’t have to worry though as Hazard has absolutely no reason to leave. He is already clearly on the path of becoming a team leader, he earns around £200,000 a week and has the opportunity to fight for Champions League glory as well as for the Premier League title each season which is what every big player wants.

Money wise, Real is very unlikely to offer an additional £150,000 per week to Hazard’s current pay considering Ronaldo is the only one making that much each week. The 24 year old Belgian seems very comfortable at Stamford Bridge and is earning a very healthy salary as it is, so some extra cash is not a reason to part ways with the Blues. As Mourinho said “We just signed a new contract with him (until 2021). We didn’t put a gun to his head. I don’t think he’s interested in going”. So it seems Mourinho will have the chance to maintain and add to his already stellar team and dominate European football with Hazard very much a part of his plans.
