Mourinho Keen On Signing Brazilian Youngster

Jose Mourinho has been singing the praises of Benfica attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, after the youngster was pursued by several big European sides in the recently concluded summer transfer, and might have been poached but for the player’s work permit which has been the hurdle, according to the Daily Mail.

Chelsea are in a very strong position in the Barclays Premier League, and results around them are only helping their cause. The Blues won against fellow table leaders Swansea City at Stamford Bridge last weekend, and were convincing in their ways and they almost beat Man City yesterday but for club legend Frank Lampard popping up with the equaliser – the classy midfielder chose not to celebrate his strike. Diego Costa has arguably been the signing of the summer so far, having already become a fan favorite and scoring goals for fun. The Spaniard has managed to net 7 goals in just 5 league appearances, and has proven to be a hit on the back of a disappointing few years for his compatriot Fernando Torres.

Work permits have proven to be hurdles for transfers all over the world, and that is due to the extensive documentation each player needs to register in a different country. Recently, Marcos Rojo for Manchester United also had a similar issue where both sides were waiting for the work permit.

Talisca will prove to be a big star in the Premier League due to the nature of the game. Mourinho has always been honest about talent he spots, and Talisca is another man who the Portuguese boss believes could bring his game to England for the better.
