Mourinho Fully Committed To Chelsea Career

Times have been tough for Jose Mourinho. Nothing seems to be working in Chelsea’s favor despite the amazing season they had last year. Injuries have affected the team’s performance and the lack of results have brought some criticism to Stamford Bridge. Despite all that, according to the BBC, Roman Abramovich is totally supportive of the Portuguese boss who has seen much better days.

Even with rumors that Mourinho’s relationship with some players has been a little strained, comments coming from the team members say otherwise. Most recently Terry who was benched after a weak season start, stated that: “If anyone is going to get us out of this hole it is going to be Jose Mourinho, we have the best manager, who we remain behind, and we remain together.” The captain denied any conflict between him and Chelsea’s manager and suggested that the entire team is 100% confident that the Special One is the only one who can turn Chelsea’s poor season start around.

Mourinho admitted that the players lack confidence and that their morale is down. “We must win at home to Aston Villa after the international break, which is maybe a good opportunity for players to go away and clear their heads and come back after that and really kick on. Once you can get one win you build on that.” Hopefully he is right and a period of days off could help get the Blues back on track as the team is just too good for the barren patch to continue much longer.
