Mourinho Could Lose Chelsea Control

According to Metro, Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has claimed that Jose Mourinho is on the verge of losing the dressing room at Chelsea in a similar manner that the Portuguese lost the plot at former club Real Madrid.

Mourinho has been in negative light through this week, but that has not been due to his season at Chelsea. Reports have claimed Mourinho lost the confidence of his players during the 2011 campaign, when his Madrid side faced Barcelona multiple times in the same month. Cruyff has claimed that a similar altercation could have taken place at Chelsea, as Mourinho complained about the lack of quality in his strike force.

Eto’o could play a big part in the final few games in the Barclays Premier League, with Liverpool and Manchester City leading the charge for the title. Chelsea will need Fernando Torres to contribute to his maximum potential, but Mourinho’s criticism is difficult to take for any striker. The current situation suggests Chelsea will have to win the rest of their 5 matches if they stand any chance of the title. One of these games include an away fixture against Liverpool, and that could decide the fate of their season but I fully expect Mourinho to maintain control and deliver the big results when we need them most like a win over Liverpool just like the big wins over City, Spurs and United.
