Ibrahimovic And Varane to Chelsea

Ibrahimovic And Varane to Chelsea

There will be a lot of activity at Stamford Bridge this summer as Chelsea plan on making sure no one stands in their way when it comes to contesting the Champions League trophy. Some changes are in place according to Mourinho who seems determined to push for two major transfers. One is Raphael Varane who has been on the Portuguese manager’s list ever since he left Spain and the other is Zlatan Ibrahimovic who unexpectedly hinted towards a move to London. Even though most thought that the chances of seeing the Sweden superstar at Stamford Bridged were close to none, it seems that the striker could give the Premier League a try. According to the Daily Express, Zlatan would love to work with the Special One again after their one year collaboration at Inter.

Ibrahomovic’s agent also hinted towards a possible move when mentioning the fact that his player has yet to decide what will happen in the near future. Rumors that PSG’s player could come to London now go hand in hand with a possible shock move by Ivanovic who is on the French side’s wanted list. He could be part of a swap that could bring Ibrahimovic to Chelsea but might also make way for Rapahel Varane.

Branislav Ivanovic is under contract until 2016 and has yet to sign a new deal. Even though he is one of the best players Chelsea currently have, the club might want to get something for him while they still can. The Serbian is 31 and might have second thoughts about Chelsea’s one year extension policy which affects players over 30.
