Felipe Luis is seen as one of the best defenders in the world. He has all the necessary characteristics to help take Chelsea all the way. The Blues have had one of the most successful transfer sessions in years. They’ve already landed Diego Costa and Fabregas who are two of the best players in the world. With Luis coming in to replace Ashley Cole who left for Roma, Chelsea are becoming stronger and stronger. Courtois is also back and Kurt Zouma has joined the squad as well.

Luis is the most interesting transfer Chelsea have managed to pull off though. Many have wondered why such a talented player has only managed to showcase his skills so late in his career. Atletico’s former player is now 28 and only managed to come to the fore during last year’s campaign for the Spanish side. His career was put on hold due to one of the most horrific injuries in football history. Even so, Luis is one of the fastest recovering players in the game. He managed to return from an ankle fracture which kept others out for as much as a year. Even though it took some time to reach a career peak he is now determined to win it all after narrowly missing on the Champions League last season with Madrid. Luis has joined Chelsea after Costa also agreed to move to Stamford Bridge. According to the Daily Mail, the two will work great together considering the time spent playing for Atletico.
