Done Deal – Falcao Completes Move To Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have managed to pull off one of the most impressive but at the same time one of the most controversial transfers of the summer. The Blues have just announced signing Radamel Falcao who is to return to the UK after leaving Manchester United at the end of the season. According to the club’s website, the 29 year old will be playing under Mourinho’s supervision for the next 12 months. His salary has not been made public but it is very likely to be still pretty massive.

Mourinho will have a lot of work to do especially if you consider how poorly Falcao performed during his last months in the Premier League. His Copa America performances were also criticized and were rumored to have cost him a transfer away from Monaco but clearly that is not the case. Hopefully Chelsea’s boss will know how to handle things in order to bring back the amazing striker that Falcao once was. He will have all the elements necessary to thrive and rediscover himself: an amazing manager, a number of teammates he has previously played next to and an environment that is known for bringing out the best in players – see Fabregas.

El Tigre expressed his joy when it comes to returning to the Premier League despite the awful experience he had with United. It is very difficult to tell what will happen next but expectations will be high for him despite the poor season he had. If his path will be anything like that of Fabregas, Chelsea could be interested in signing the Colombian at the end of his loan spell.
