Demba Ba Salary Might Keep The Striker Tied To Chelsea

It seems that Demba Ba will have to get used to his situation for one more year as his salary prevents other teams from bidding for a loan deal. In order to get Chelsea’s striker for one year, a team would have to pay a £80,000-a-week wage. Considering the fact that Demba Ba had little chance to show off his form or prove he is worth that much, teams are now having second thoughts when it comes to Senegalese player. According to the Daily Mail, Everton were interested in replacing Lukaku who strangely enough will be returning to Chelsea where he has trouble making the starting line-up just as Demba Ba.

Everton could be more interested in a permanent deal which would solve both the club and the player’s problems. Demba Ba has grown frustrated over time especially with Mourinho bringing in Eto’o instead of using him as an alternative Torres.

The 29 year old striker could even end up competing for a spot in Everton’s attack with fellow teammate Romelu Lukaku who insisted he is no longer interested in a loan deal or in spending time as a substitute for Chelsea’s strikers. With that in mind, Everton may have to make a complicated decision in a couple of days when both Demba Ba and Lukaku will be announcing their destination for next season.
