Cuadrado Looking Good At The Copa America – Giving Mourinho A Decision To Make

There have been a lot of rumors regarding Juan Cuadrado’s future at Chelsea. The Colombian was a huge disappointment for the Blues who instead of using Salah decided to spend a lot of money on a player who only made 12 appearances in the season. The 27 year old who cost Chelsea £23.3 million back in January seemed overwhelmed by Premier League football and looked out of touch with the group on several occasions. The biggest problem right now when it comes to Cuadrado is to figure out if he does indeed have a problem with playing in the UK or if he just suffered a drop in form which he seems to have come out of while playing for Colombia.

It will be a difficult task for Mourinho who was the one who wanted to transfer the 27 year old. It was a strange move to make especially with Schurrle and Salah in Chelsea’s squad. They were more than capable of performing at the same level if not better than Cuadrado and they did not cost the club any additional transfer fees. Even so, the Colombian was brought in as another option for the right part of the pitch where Willian dominated throughout the season.

Currently Cuadrado is looking better and better so Chelsea fans will have to wait for the Colombian to return from South America in order to find out what will happen next. There is a very big chance that he will be sent on loan or even may be sold back to Italy where he felt most comfortable. According to ESPN he will have a good chance to stay especially if Falcao comes to Stamford Bridge. The two get along very well and would help The Blues’ attack.
