Could Any Of These 3 Very Unexpected Transfers Happen?

Chelsea has managed to move up to 7th place in the Premier League and despite some so-so performances, they have narrowed the gap between them and the top four. The biggest problem right now seems to be coming from the way the lot is built. Conte hasn’t managed to find the perfect formation nor the perfect players for each formation he creates on the pitch. There were rumors that the Italian boss is not getting along that well with the Blues’ stars especially after leaving some of them on the bench. Despite constant denial of all departure rumors regarding players like Costa or Fabregas, gossip is still circling Stamford Bridge.

One of the most intriguing things Chelsea fans may have heard is that none other than Michy Batshuayi has been linked to a possible return to Marseille. The Belgium international was brought in at a point in time when Diego Costa was reportedly flirting with the idea of returning to Atletico. Batshuayi was seen as the perfect replacement for the Spaniard who did not do so well last year with his performances attributed to his inability to adapt to the London life. Costa surprised a lot of people by being Chelsea’s number one man during the first matches of the season which leaves Batshuayi as the second option upfront at best. Regardless of all this though, we don’t see this move happening. The Blues have a ton of players on loan but few of them are on the same level as the Belgium international. It’s also hard to believe he will return to France even if he is mostly a substitute for Diego Costa and unless through some miracle, Griezmann joins Chelsea, it is very unlikely to see this this 23-year-old striker leave on loan.

Another unexpected rumor hit the news after Antonio Conte was spotted watching Torino defeat Fiorentina in one of this Sunday’s Serie A games. Looking at the lots of the two teams, there is no one who could represent any interest for the Italian boss other than Joe Hart. Why? Because Courtois has expressed his desire to someday go back to Spain, a place where he spent his first years as a pro footballer. There were already rumors that he would leave this summer but nothing happened. Barcelona, Atletico and Real Madrid all could make an offer for the Belgium international who is one of Chelsea’s key players. Hopefully, an offer for Hart will not mean a way out for Courtois who is definitely one of the best keepers in the world.

Last but not least, there is one more move which could happen despite so many interviews claiming this is not a move that it will take place anytime soon. Fabregas is once again linked to a transfer after not being able to take the chance Conte gave him against Arsenal. According to Metro, his move to AC Milan may not look as farfetched as before now that there might be something for Chelsea to gain. Mattia De Sciglio (23) could be the reason why Fabregas might move to Serie A. The Italian right-back could come in as a replacement for Ivanovic who will be out of contract soon.

Out of all three rumors, the last one looks like the one which could really go down in the near future. No one expects any new transfers or changes to be made to the lot this January though, meaning that we will have to wait until next summer to see if any of these rumors were in fact close to reality.
