Conte Deciding On Player Moves

Oscar left and John Obi Mikel followed. There were also Salah, Djilobodji, Perica and Marin who decided they was no room for them at Stamford Bridge. They will very likely be joined by Cuadrado, Remy, Traore and Baba Rahman who are now on loan but already had the chance to impress Conte. Other players could leave so who else could follow?

Apparently, according to Metro, Conte has two more players in mind. Charly Musonda and Kenedy might be on their way as there is no point in having them around without using them. It has been made clear that the Italian boss wants consistency – Chelsea have used the least players in the Premier League this season – no one can say anything as they are in first place.

After talking about Batshuayi who was given a chance to prove himself in the FA Cup and took it bay scoring a goal against Peterborough, Conte said the following:

‘For Musonda, for Kenedy, this month is important. They went on loan and it’s important to wait this month [to see] what happens, to evaluate the situation in the right way and then make the solution for the club, for the players above all,’ the coach told reporters.

‘We know now that if Musonda or Kenedy play one second with us, they can’t go on loan.’

‘For this reason, it’s important to evaluate. Kenedy is training with us only two weeks, Charly only 10 days.

‘It’s important to evaluate these players and then make the best decision for the players, for the team, for the club and for me.’

After what Conte did in a couple of months for Chelsea, no one will be able to comment regarding his decisions to sell certain players. If things go well and the Italian boss wins the Premier League he could sell anyone he wants and keep anyone he wants. As long as the players are happy, trophies are won and the football is great, all trust should be invested in him.
