Chelsea To Face Striker Exodus

Chelsea To Face Striker Exodus

According to ESPNFC, Chelsea will lose all their three strikers at the end of the summer. With some massive investments on the way, Demba Ba, Torres and Eto’o will no longer be the top choices for Mourinho. The Portuguese manager is looking to sign two new strikers one of which will be either Diego Costa or Edinson Cavani. If just one of the two reaches an agreement with the Blues none of the three will have the chance of making as many appearances as they did this season.

Demba Ba was already out the door during the winter transfer period. Unfortunately for him, no solid offer has made its way to London. Things might be different at the end of the season though, as he has already announced his desire to leave Chelsea.

The Senegalese international has not had a good run since moving to Chelsea. The former Newcastle striker who never complained about his status as Mourinho’s third choice is no longer interested in being the last pick on match day.

Despite his excellent performance against PSG where he scored the winning goal, he still does not feel like the Portuguese will give him too many other chances to play. Because of that he is considering any offer from clubs which guarantee his spot in the first eleven. Hopefully for Demba Ba, he will find a club for which to perform. He still has a lot to offer.
