Chelsea To Face PSG For The Second Year In A Row

Chelsea will have to face PSG in what will be a reenactment of last season’s quarter-final. The chances are slightly in favor of the Blues who had the upper hand last season with a goal scored in the away game. Despite losing 3-1 in Paris, Mourinho’s players went through due to a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge. The games were very difficult and will probably be even more complicated to handle this year. Despite receiving a massive boost in efficiency due to Fabregas and Costa, the Blues will still have to handle a team which has developed some strong in-game relationships. They have also strengthened their defense with David Luiz who left London for Paris at the beginning of the season

According to the Daily Mail, both teams have grown in quality and have a lot more to show for than last season. They already know each other and will probably have a very complicated game ahead. Both will avoid making last year’s mistakes and will be a lot more tactical.

Chelsea are looking better at the moment as far as internal competitions go. They have only to lose one game and look stronger than ever. PSG are looking to be losing pace but that should not be a problem considering the winter vacation is close. It will be interesting to see if the French side manage to play as well as they did in Paris last year. With a bit of luck they could have eliminated the Londoners. It will be hard for them to dominate the game the way they did now that Chelsea are able to actually make something of the occasions they have in front of goal.
