Chelsea Target Set To Sign New Contract!

Juan Cuadrado was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer with Manchester United showing interest in the winger. No move materialized for the 26-year-old but he is still in hot demand across Europe, with Chelsea the latest team to be linked for his services.

The Blues were expected to bid for the Colombian in January but it seems Jose Mourinho may have to look elsewhere. Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Guerini has revealed that the club are deep in negotiations with Cuadrado over a new deal, according to the Express.

He said, “Cuadrado’s attitude has been exemplary during this process. There are [just a few] details [on the new deal]. Both the club and player have expressed a willingness to continue together. It’s only fair that he wants to win things. Until two years ago, nobody wanted to join Fiorentina, now the situation has reversed. The club know what to do.”
