Chelsea Take A Two Point Lead

Chelsea Take A Two Point Lead

Chelsea started off a bit slow vs Swansea but ended the game in style. Diego Costa proved his early season form is no fluke by grabbing his first Premier League hat-trick. The Spaniard was everywhere and scored from every position. The team seems to be working perfectly in his favor especially if you take a look at his stats up until now.

The Blues dominated the game and sent 29 shots towards goal, 9 of which found the target. They quickly overcame the early own goal scored by Terry who was desperately trying to clear the ball from inside the box. It was all about Costa after that. Hazard, Fabregas and Ramires did a great job at finding the Spaniard inside Swansea’s box. He took every chance and moved away from the rest of the Premier League Scorers. He is now 4 goals ahead of all the other players with the 7 goals he netted in just four games.

Remy also scored a goal for Chelsea and proved that Mourinho really knew what he was doing when he decided to bring in two new strikers to replace Torres, Demba Ba and Eto’o. Hopefully for the Blues, their game will only improve from now on. Fans are in for a very exciting season considering the fact that Chelsea are already dominating the Premier League and will probably do the same in the Champions League group stages.
