Chelsea Still On The Lookout For Young Talent

Chelsea Still On The Lookout For Young Talent

With Drogba ready to move on to a coaching role this summer, Chelsea will have to sign a third striker. Even though rumors have it that Torres could return after a failed loan deal with Milan, it is very unlikely to believe that the Spaniard will ever play for the Blues. With that in mind, a series of players have made it to Mourinho’s transfer list. Out of all the names, Mauro Icardi seems to be the most appealing. The 21 year old who has started playing for Inter this season, has already scored an impressive numbers of goals. Currently under contract with Inter, the youngster looks very promising and also very tempting for teams who are already settled in and need a strong striker to complete the lot. The Italians are not able to provide Icardi with the same challenges he would face in the Premier League, and are also incapable of providing the Argentinian with the chance to perform in the Champions League.

According to TalkSport, Icardi who is under contract until 2018, will be hard to be pinned down by Inter. If he keeps his form and manages to somehow improve it, he will surely get some very tempting offers this summer. The Italians will not let him leave in January but could have a hard time competing with salaries currently provided by English teams. Icardi could become the next Argentinian to make it big in the next season as long as he makes the right choices.
