Chelsea Star Youngster Warns Of Permanent Exit

Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon has revealed he could make a permanent exit from the club in order to seek regular first team football, after the winger admitted given the quality of players at the West London outfit, it would be difficult for him to get a place in the first team, according to the Express.

The Blues have continued their regular investments in the first team by bringing in players like Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid. The Spaniard’s quality is undoubted, and it most certainly takes away the spot from any other player in the squad. Loic Remy was also signed in the summer window. Eden Hazard remains a crucial part of the team, and the winger has also sealed his place in the starting lineup. This situation and continual annual investment means players like Piazon who have tried to work up the ranks at the academy do not get an opportunity to test themselves at first team level. Hence, Piazon has taken the option of a loan spell at German club Eintracht Frankfurt, where he will gain some much needed first team experience.

Piazon was signed by Chelsea as a youth player from Sao Paulo in 2011. However, the Brazilian has only made one appearance in the senior side. The 20-year old was sent on loan to Malaga and Vitesse previously, before picking Frankfurt this season.
