Chelsea are looking set to invest in Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi as the Italian outfit have slapped a £28 million price tag on their starlet striker after the player has been showing exceptional skill that have left some comparing him to Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Express.

The Blues are performing at the highest standards in the Barclays Premier League, and are currently leading the standings comfortably thanks to consistency brought by their attacking players. Diego Costa has entered the club and hit the ground running almost immediately, and has already developed a reputation for being a trouble maker for opposition defenders. The Spaniard made the move from Atletico Madrid in the summer, and has arguably been Chelsea’s best player. Cesc Fabregas has also been an instrumental player in this run of form that Chelsea have developed, and his breathtaking skill in creating passes for his teammates have played a big role in their success. Nemanja Matic has also been strong in the midfield, not allowing opposition attacking players to have it easy on any given day.
