Chelsea have been scouting 19-year-old Munir El Haddadi with a view to a bid in the foreseeable future. The teenager apparently has a release clause worth £9.4 million in his contract and the Blues are looking to trigger it.

However, Haddadi is held in high regards at the club and Barca boss Luis Enrique has assured him that he remains in his future plans. Enrique has also shown his faith in the youngster by selecting him in nearly all of Barcelona’s league matches this season and Haddadi has now decided to stay at the club, according to the Express.

The Spaniard is essentially a centre-forward but he also has the flexibility to play on the wings. Chelsea are becoming known for buying top young talent from across the world but it seems Haddadi will be out of their grasp.
