Chelsea Interested In Emerging Spanish Youngster

Chelsea have registered interest in Spanish striker Paco Alcacer, after the youngster made quite an impression early on for his club Valencia in the La Liga campaign, also making his debut for the senior national side last week, as talkSPORT report.

The Blues are always looking to invest in top talent, and young players belonging to the La Liga sides are not offered such lucrative contracts as in the Barclays Premier League. This is why England poses as an opportunity for youngsters from across the continent to grow as players and also benefit financially from the power of the league. Players like Eden Hazard are paid weekly wages in the range of £150,000, and this helps big English clubs to attract talent from several other countries. This week gave national sides the chance to give players the first taste of international football after the World Cup in Brazil, and it also kicked off the qualifier rounds for Euro 2016 in France.

Alcacer began his youth career at CD Monte-Sion, before being scouted by Torrent CF, who further nourished his talent at their youth academy. Finally, it was Valencia who came into his career as the big step-up, and the player was ready for a move. The 21-year old started off playing in the Valencia B team, before he was sent on loan, and finally given the nod to play for the senior side.
