Chelsea are hoping to secure the signature of one of Europe’s finest. Juventus superstar Paul Pogba is according to Metro, closer to the Premier League than ever. With a £70million offer on the table, the Blues are now favorites for bringing in the French youngster who has been intensely linked to Arsenal and Manchester United as well. Mourinho plans on pairing Pogba with Matic and Fabregas in what could become the most impressive midfield sections of the past decade. The three look perfect for one another on paper. Matic is one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe, Pogba is a beast when it comes to handling both offensive and defensive duties and Fabregas is brilliantly incisive and resourceful. With such qualities, Chelsea could easily dominate all adversaries.

Some changes will have to be made at the club if Pogba is going to find his way to London this summer. FIFA regulations are strict and could obligate the Blues to sell some of their players. Even if they said goodbye to a few, they still have to balance out the £70million which will probably be sent to Torino sometime in July. It will be worth the effort though as Pogba looks ready to take things to the next level. Facing opponents like Arsenal, City, Liverpool or United on a regular basis will help him step up his game and will help him develop into the player everyone expects him to become.
