Chelsea Free To Sign 18 Year Old Belgium International Zakaria Bakkali

Chelsea received great news from the Netherlands where Zakaria Bakkali has refused to sign a new deal with PSV in a clear attempt to move to a bigger team. The 18 year old who just made his debut for the Belgian national team has created quite the impression on Europe’s biggest clubs. According to the Daily Express, Bakkali is well aware of the fact that he can join one of the Premier League greats as early as the summer of 2015. Due to his attitude, he was benched and failed to make any appearance in any of PSV’s last 10 games. Cocu punished Bakkali who is playing for the U21 team at the moment.

The Blues seem to have the upper hand with Hazard being one of their most prolific players. The Belgian could influence Bakkali’s decision who will be looking for some sort of support in his transition to the Premier League. Mourinho is also known for his amazing negotiation abilities and his capacity to convince players to join the club where he is manager.

PSV will have to sell Bakkali during the winter in order to make some money out of his transfer. Otherwise they risk losing the 18 year old for free which would be a big blow for the Dutch side who could have made a lot more if they have had managed the situation correctly up until this point.
