Chelsea Begin Scouting German Prodigy

Chelsea have begun their scouting process of tracking Bayer Leverkusen youngster Julian Brandt, after the midfielder has been rated as one of the best prospects in Germany, and has a difficult call to make about his future as a professional footballer, according to the Mirror.

The Blues are easily one of the most highly connected clubs in the world when it comes to scouting, and there is hardly any talent that goes out of their line of sight.

However, like Chelsea, most other top sides match their counterparts in this process, sending out scouts all around the world, looking to unearth the next star player.

Several clubs offer the parents of these young players incentives to move countries, so their son could play for the club. If you enjoy the odd bet and like a punt on the whether the Blues will sell any of their vast array of loan stars why not check out the Sky Vegas welcome bonuses.

Brandt’s strength is his attacking impact in midfield, supporting the strike force in the goalscoring charts. He is 6 ft tall and his terrific pace makes him a force to reckon with at Leverkusen.

The 18-year old has not been fazed by his age, and is making the most of his early years at the club. Brandt’s career began at the SC Borgfeld youth academy where he spent nearly a decade developing his talent. He then had a spell at FC Oberneuland and Wolfsburg before finally signing for the Leverkusen II side. However, his performances were good enough to earn him a spot in the senior starting eleven.
