Cech Set To Leave For Turkey

Petr Cech who has been with the club for the past decade is considering leaving this winter. The 32 year old failed to keep up with Courtois who was promised a spot in the starting eleven if he extended his contract. Mourinho seems to have kept his part of the deal. The Belgian international is now keeping Cech on the bench and is probably going to do so for the rest of the time he will spend at Stamford Bridge. According to the Daily Mail, several teams are interested in taking advantage of this situation. Making an offer for the 32 year old goalkeeper could succeed especially after rumors that he is willing to move as long as he is once again a team regular.

After Arsenal were first linked to the Czech international, it is now time for teams from outside the Premier League to start making offers. Besktas are the first who expressed their interest for the former number 1. Unfortunately for them, it appears that there is little chance for Cech to say yes and move to Turkey. Despite not being the youngest goalkeepers, Chelsea’s former captain still has a lot of years to play. With that in mind, it is hard to believe that he will leave for a team with such different goals than Chelsea.

If Cech does decide to leave he will either join a Premier League team which is a regular in the Champions League or he will choose a side ready to win some major competitions and trophies.
