Cech Is January Target For Real Madrid!

The Czech Republic international has lost his place in the side to Thibaut Courtois and is reportedly not happy sitting on the Chelsea bench. He has featured just twice for the Blues since the start of the season and is already thinking about his future at the club.

Cech could lose his place in the national side if he continues to play second fiddle to Courtois and there is a real possibility he forces a move in January. Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with Cech during his time as Blues boss between 2009 and 2011, is targeting a move for the 32-year-old as a possible replacement for Iker Casillas.

The Spain goalkeeper has been inconsistent of late and Real Madrid want to bring in Cech as his replacement in January, according to the Standard.

Cech spoke about his future last week and said, “I think they know me well enough at Chelsea to know that the situation is not the way I would imagine. With the European Championship in 2016 and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not to play. I have not spoken to anybody at the club but if the situation will not start to improve for me then I will want to solve it.”

Do you think Petr Cech will leave Stamford Bridge in January?
