Most thought that joining an Italian team would be beneficial for the Spaniard. Milan have returned to a more defensive playing style and have gone past the Ronaldinho era when they scored an impressive number of goals compared to teams like Inter, Roma or Juventus. It was the perfect setup for Chelsea’s player who thrived when he was the main man at Liverpool. Unfortunately for him, nothing seems to help his form.
