Blues Fans Hoping Torres Loan Deal Turns Into A Permanent Move

It seems that Mourinho knew what he was doing when he sent Torres off to Milano. The Spaniard continues his struggle and has a hard time finding his form despite moving to Italy. Chelsea fans finally feel relieved after spending a few seasons praying for Torres to get accommodated to the atmosphere and playing style at Stamford Bridge. According to Metro, they are now hoping that the once prolific striker never returns. His contract with The Blues is set to expire when his loan deal with AC Milan expires. It is very unlikely that he will come back to London where his record is well below average. Even with all the chances and the immense trust managers have put in his abilities, Torres just slipped deeper and deeper into mediocrity.

Despite managing to score in his second game for Milan, 30 year old seems to be on the same route as he was after joining Chelsea. Most thought that joining an Italian team would be beneficial for the Spaniard. Milan have returned to a more defensive playing style and have gone past the Ronaldinho era when they scored an impressive number of goals compared to teams like Inter, Roma or Juventus. It was the perfect setup for Chelsea’s player who thrived when he was the main man at Liverpool. Unfortunately for him, nothing seems to help his form. Fans should be thinking of Torres as their former player considering the large amount of money spent on the loan deal which points to a permanent transfer.
